Improve Digital has received the Deloitte Rising Star Award 2011. The Dutch-founded technology company, which helps web publishers to generate more revenues from online advertising, follows in the footsteps of previous winners such as TomTom, Intelius and Pinnacle.
The announcement was made at an award ceremony held at Yes! Delft, near The Hague in The Netherlands. The event followed an afternoon of ‘elevator pitches’ from the 12 nominees announced at the end of September, during which Improve Digital presented its business plan to demonstrate the company’s proprietary technology, scalability, experience, management team expertise and ongoing growth potential.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Rising Star awards programme is open to companies that are five years old or less. It is part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, an annual selection by an independent judging panel of the fastest-growing technology companies in the Benelux, based on percentage revenue growth over the past five years combined with future potential.
Commenting on the win, Improve Digital’s chief innovation officer, Janneke Niessen, says: “This award is a huge achievement for the company. It is also a well-deserved recognition of the efforts of the entire Improve Digital team, and its passion for providing European publishers with the best technology solution and outstanding service.”
Founded in 2008 in The Netherlands, Improve Digital’s headquarters are in Amsterdam and it has offices in London, Madrid, Munich and Paris. It provides a technology platform that premium publishers use to build their own private ad exchanges in order to maximize the potential of their online advertising inventory.
