CDE SCOOP NORTHERN IRELAND EXPORTER OF THE YEAR AWARD
CDE have been announced as the 2007 winners of the Northern Ireland Award for Export Achievement. The Cookstown Engineering Company, which specialises in the design and manufacture of equipment for the quarrying industry, has been recognized for its rapid expansion and outstanding export success.
The award, organised by the Northern Ireland Institute of Export, was established to recognise the achievement of Northern Ireland organisations in export markets. Now in its twentysecond year, previous winners of the award include leading Northern Ireland companies such as Mivan, Grafton Recruitment, The Wright Group, Galen and Ulster Carpets. Presenting the award, Darren Richardson from the Institute of Export said: “CDE exemplifies the strategic, sustainable approach to business development in export markets that is essential to the future development of Northern Ireland’s private sector. They are worthy recipients of the Award for Export Achievement and I commend them on their success”.
