Worldwide Growth For Belfast Travel Company - new name reflects increased NI demand for luxury trips
McNeill Worldwide is the new name for the leading Northern Ireland travel company, previously called McNeill Menary Travel. The new brand was officially unveiled today and represents a significant investment and expansion for the Lisburn Road company, which was acquired by Traveldev in 2006; combining revenues in excess of £27million.
Michael Ferguson, Commercial Director of McNeill Worldwide commented: “We are extremely excited about the new name, which is really only the final piece of the jigsaw which follows a year of restructuring. Our new business model is geared around the increasing demand for worldwide luxury travel from Northern Ireland.”
He continued: “In common with many of us, our customers are increasingly time poor and when they do have a holiday, they are willing to go further and invest that little bit extra to ensure they enjoy every minute. Whether a safari in South Africa, an intimate Italian hotel on the Amalfi coast or something completely different such as a guided tour across China that explores the wealth history, culture and landscapes. We now well placed to cater for discerning requests from customers across Northern Ireland.
To support the restructure, the company has made a number of financial, capital and technological investments at their Lisburn Road office. New advisors have been recruited to support the company’s 40-strong existing travel team. A new McNeill Worldwide website has also been launched and acts as an online brochure system featuring an extensive list of destinations and accommodations in the McNeill Worldwide programme giving customers the opportunity to view many properties and destinations online.
