Sanctuary Villas and Apartments has teamed up with the ARTCLUB Gallery in Paris to offer its clients private after-hours viewing of the gallery’s exhibitions. This fantastic opportunity is being offered to guests staying at any of Sanctuary’s Paris apartments, which are being offered for the first time in 2008.
The ARTCLUB Gallery sits on the rue de Rivoli, a stone’s throw from the Opera and opposite the Louvre. It is one of Paris’ leading galleries for contemporary figurative art, with its variety of styles, bold colours and the scenes represented within its works attracting an international clientele. The gallery also has a collection of ‘Old Masters’, which can be privately viewed upon request by art collectors looking to invest.
Sanctuary Villas and Apartments is offering a selection of city-centre apartments in Paris in 2008. Appartement Boissy d’Anglas is situated on the top floor of Hotel Le Faubourg, giving it access to all the benefits of hotel accommodation - such as daily housekeeping and room service - but with added privacy and space. The apartment sleeps up to five guests, with minimum three-night rentals starting from £3,958.
Sanctuary also features several apartments in La Réserve, one of Paris’ most prestigious arrondissements, situated immediately opposite the Eiffel Tower. These apartments are stylishly decorated by Rémi Tessier and range from one to four bedrooms, sleeping a maximum eight guests. Apartments in La Réserve are available for a minimum three-night rental, with prices starting from £4,513.
A palette of options for art lovers
As well as the private gallery views in Paris, Sanctuary Villas and Apartments can offer a number of other art-themed experiences in Europe.
Tread in the footsteps of the masters with a stay at Al Castello in San Polo, Tuscany, a magnificent villa that was once owned by the celebrated Medici family of Florence. During the 15th century, the villa was used by commissioned Medici Court artists. The main building of Al Castello sleeps up to 12 guests, with prices starting from £9,995 per week on a Tailor Made basis or £11,515 per week on a Sanctuary Hosted basis. An additional wing sleeping six further guests can also be rented.
Discover artistic treasures in the French artists’ town of St Paul de Vence, whilst staying nearby at Villa du Loup. Sanctuary Villas can arrange for a local expert to give guests a guided tour around the town’s galleries, or even a private art teacher for those wishing to develop their own talents. Villa du Loup sleeps up to ten guests, with prices starting from £5,480 per week on a Tailor Made basis, or £7,395 per week on a Sanctuary Hosted basis.
Appreciate the original works of Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Raphael and many others in the world-famous Uffizi Gallery in Florence, accompanied by an expert guide who will lead you through centuries of artistic masterpieces. Villa Lilli is just ten minutes by car from the centre of Florence, making it the perfect base for a cultural break. The villa sleeps up to eight guests and can be rented from £4,690 on a Tailor Made basis or £6,690 on a Sanctuary Hosted basis.
