Bellevue Spa's New Gold Massage
Bellevue Spa Launches Signature Gold Massage
If you can be tempted off the slopes this winter for some spa and pampering, look no further than the Bellevue SPA at the 5-star Grand Hotel Bellevue in the picture perfect Swiss mountain resort of Gstaad. The Asian-inspired spa has introduced a series of indulgent massages and spa treatments perfect for post-skiing pampering: the luxurious Bellevue gold massage and the new sea shell massage.
The Bellevue gold massage, the Grand Hotel Bellevue’s new signature massage, uses gold massage oil formulated with 100% pure essential oils to deliver the truest spa experience and a massage technique that was developed especially by the experienced Bellevue SPA therapists. The ultimate in luxury, the gold oil is one of the most precious oils in the spa industry, and has an exceptional anti-aging effect. Containing tiny floating gold particles, the oil is massaged into the skin at a rhythmic pace, using a unique professional massage method. The result is a relaxing spa experience that is designed to uplift and invigorate the body and soul.
“We are excited to offer the Bellevue massage exclusively as our signature massage, which is sure to be a popular option for our guests,” said Ulrike Muthen, manager of the Bellevue SPA. “Through the rhythmic movements this particular massage is a great stress reliever. Combined with an active program out in the healthy mountain air and delicious food guests will feel completely rejuvenated.”
The healing seashell massage treatment involves the use of smooth tiger shells as part of a continuous moving massage. Tiger clam shells from the Lower extremities are invigorated with a naturally detoxifying foot treatment. The use of warm shells and fragrant oils allow the body and mind to reconnect as they immerse in this healing ritual. Both deeply relaxing and immensely therapeutic, the shell massage will melt all tension away.
The Bellevue SPA spreads over 2,500 square metre guests and offers a contemporary spa setting with a variety of heat experiences and treatments. This beautifully blended and meditative space is inspired by a Japanese theme and offers an air of tranquillity in contrast to the contemporary elegance of the rest of the hotel.
The spa features two beauty suites and eight treatment rooms, a variety of steam baths and indoor saunas, and a Finnish outdoor sauna area with its own freezing plunge pool. For physical work-out there is a 16 metre indoor pool, a gym with personal trainers, daily yoga sessions and other fitness classes in which hotel guests can participate free of charge.
