Robinson Opens New EXCITE Facility

First Minister Peter Robinson And Jeffery Donaldson MP MLA Visit Lisburn To Launch State-Of-The-Art Premises
The EXCITE Group, Northern Ireland’s leading exhibition and conference display contractor and also promotional merchandise provider, was paid a visit on Friday by Peter Robinson M.P. M.L.A. First Minister and Jeffrey Donaldson M.P. M.L.A. who officially welcomed the £2.4 million investment into the local area.
The company was founded in 1999 and recently relocated from Belfast to Lisburn to new purpose-built premises, encompassing a large showroom, offices and manufacturing workshop measuring 23,500 square feet on a one acre site.
‘EXCITE Exhibition & Display Ltd’ currently work for many of Northern Ireland’s leading blue chip Companies supplying both custom designed exhibition stands, conference backdrops and portable display equipment and their sister company ‘EXCITE Promotional Merchandise’ provide a wide range of promotional business gifts and individually branded corporate items to many firms and organisations who range from the smallest Charity or S.M.E. to a many of Northern Ireland’s Government bodies and Agencies.
Speaking at the launch of The EXCITE Group, The First Minister Peter Robinson said, “I am delighted to be here today to welcome an outstanding company to Lisburn and to commend its local and international business achievements. The Excite Group exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit that Northern Ireland needs as we move our economy forward. Employees should be extremely proud today. I wish The EXCITE Group continued success in these new state-of-art premises.”
Minister Donaldson said he was delighted to see a local company expand, “The EXCITE Group is an up and coming business who has chosen to relocate to Lisburn. They have invested a considerable amount in the local economy and it is particularly important to see more jobs coming into the area.”
He continued, “I understand that EXCITE has a strong order book with a number of blue chip companies and leading organisations on both a local and international level and it has been a pleasure supporting them today.”
Managing Director Colin Cummings commented, “As a result of our continued growth we took the decision to relocate to new premises in Lisburn. The City had great appeal for a business at our stage of growth, it is a perfect location for cross border logistics and offers a first class business support network. We are delighted to welcome both Ministers here today and we look forward to growing our business within this constituency.”
