Moisés Cardoso, 3Marcos Commercial Director, has announced the launch of a new silicone sealant. The sealant has been specifically developed to reach maximum performance on aluminum surfaces.
“At 3Marcos, we are driven by innovation,” said Cardoso, “and our customers will see how this innovative silicone sealant provides extraordinary performance on new generation aluminum lacquered surfaces.”
Cardoso added: “This sealant’s strong adhesion to aluminum, combined with an exceptionally fast cure, means it can be used without any primer on the vast majority of construction materials, porous and non-porous; including glass, polyester, epoxy, aluminum and other metals. The sealant can also be used with concrete, brick, ceramics, PVC and other plastics, as well as treated wood”
“One of the defining features of the new silicone sealant is its extraordinary performance in joints and areas subjected to vibrations and frequent cleaning. We believe that the development of this product will bring 3Marcos to the forefront of sealant development.”
“The concept was delivered in response to needs trigged by emerging trends in aluminum lacquering processes. Since commencing the project last year, we now produce and deliver a top quality sealant product, which has been developed to meet the needs of the most demanding professionals.”
“The new 3Marcos silicones and sealants production division, which is part of the EU Steel Group, is equipped with the latest software and machine technology. This gives us the flexibility to provide tailored solutions matching our customer’s needs.”
Cardoso continued: “At 3Marcos, we have our own chemical laboratory to enhance client services with ‘Just-in-Time’ physical tests, and product characteristic analysis. Products produced at 3Marcos can also be independently tested for certification.”
“We also produce high viscosity products for the automotive industry. Throughout this year we will be announcing a range of new sealants with a variety of additives and catalysts, using high-tech expansion units for improved shelf life.”
