Warwick Business School’s Dr Zoe Radnor, who guides the government on lean service transformation, will also be speaking at the full-day event, which takes place at The Manufacturing Institute in Manchester.

“Lean works by cutting out the inflating, non value added activities that are a waste of time, money or resources,” explained Bill Tiplady, Manufacturing Institute practitioner, who will chair the Masterclass.

He continued: “Typically, the application of lean in a factory will boost productivity by 25%, but in an office environment it has the potential to bring even bigger returns as wasted activity and resources are less obvious and inefficiency can be more deeply ingrained.”

Delegates will gain an understanding of how ‘lean office’ can radically change the way they operate and gain powerful insights from the diverse organisations presenting their experiences.
